Korea Skate to Busan Day 5 Gumi to Changnyepong

Gumi to Changnyepong 

Sleep at the Motel and skated the next morning to next checkpoint. At the time, our singaporean couple arrived so we traveled together to the next 2 checkpoint. Got free lift again, with Shengen Lim as my puller. At last checkpoint, we parted ways to look for camping spot — in Gumi, South Korea.

Korea Skate to Busan Day 4 Day 4 Ihawang pass to Gumi

Day 4 Ihawang pass to Gumi 135km

Descend the pass. got breakfast along the way and meet 2 korean cyclists at the restaurant. They escorted us along the for a couple checkpoint before speeding off to busan. Got lost and had difficulty finding the bike path, in the end, backtrack 10km to take the small roads to Gumi. Lost my friend Joni along the way but meet 2 great singaporeans Shengen Lim and his girlfriend, who pulled me along to the Gumi checkpoint to find Joni. This was when land wake boarding started.

Korea Skate to Busan Day 3 Chungju to Ihwang pass

Chungju to Ihwang pass

70 km

Tough climb got 2 huge mountain pass. Stopped at Suanbo for hot spring and sauna, before ascending 548m in 5 km climb. pushing my longboard up i was like cursing and swearing. Upon reaching the peak, the view was just magnificent. I really earned this view. We camped at a pavillion at the peak for tonight before descending the next day

Korea Skate to Busan Day 2 Yangpyeong to Chungju

130 km 
Yangpyeong to Chungju 

Started at 6am, skate to look for breakfast. Arrive at our first checkpoint Yangpyeong but we have no passport yet. only at Ipobo we manged to buy passport and get stamps along the route. Meet very nice korean cyclist who brought us around for sightseeing at the King's tomb and treated us to lunch.
