Day 24: Grabbing Crappy Crabs in Krabi

Day 24: Grabbing Crappy Crabs in Krabi
Thailand: Khlong Thom to Krabi
Distance: 46km
Time on board: 3 hours 16
Cumulative distance: 1292km
Since i covered 86 km yesterday, hence i only got 46 km to Krabi. Sleep at the monastery til sun shone on me.
Easy-peasy skate. Now my body is used to long distance, less than 50km is considered as short distance already. 17km away from Krabi, Jason Martin, another cycle tourer spotted me. He is on the same route as i am. Langkawi to Satun to krabi. Guess we will see each other more often more. Krabi has the Ao nang beach area which is more expensive and the main town which is naturally cheaper. Before entering main town, spotted a police highway station catered for cyclist. Wifi, water, banana. Left my backpack at the station while i visited the Tiger Temple. Don't want to carry my backpack and make a 4km detour. Thank god there is police, not that i trusted them, is that there is nothing to steal. Beside my phone, longboard, passport, cash, there is really nothing of value unless they enjoy sleeping in my hammock.
Skated to Tiger temple without my backpack, never felt so free before. Toured around the temple but didn't make my way to the top. 1237 steps with my longboard and paddle, No way. I will still get many opportunities of such view.
Made my way, collected my backpack and skated into town, found City Dorm for only 160 baht or 6 singapore dollars. Is bad but is cheap. Doing such long tour, i have to budget tightly to maximise my days.
Tomorrow is another off day to chill at the beach. I like this, skate few days, then chill. In Thailand so far, my arrangement is travel to cities and stay in hostel, small towns i camp in monastery.
